This rich, vegan moisturizer is formulated with 1% bakuchiol (the pure meroterpene, not bakuchi oil)—a plant-derived active that addresses some of the same skin concerns as retinol without the irritation. Clinical studies* show that bakuchiol can improve fine lines, skin texture, firmness, and hyperpigmentation when used consistently over 12 weeks, and it does all this without making your skin angry. The GOOW formula blends bakuchiol with apricot kernel oil (packed with fatty acids and vitamins A and E), glycerin (a moisture magnet), and panthenol to hydrate and support your skin barrier.
It's suitable for all skin types and works morning or night after serums. Bonus: it plays nicely under makeup and can be worn as primer. As with any active ingredient, patch test if you've never used bakuchiol before—better safe than sorry.
