Apple AHA + Green Tea Gentle Exfoliating Essence

This is a gentle resurfacing mist, not a strong exfoliating treatment, perfect for daily maintenance to help keep flaking at bay or for seasonal skin transitions.

Apple AHAs (a blend of malic, glycolic, lactic, and citric acids at 1% AHA and 0.5% apple extract) do the work here, but we deliberately buffered the formula to a skin-friendly pH that strikes a less irritating balance between free acids that do the exfoliating work and you're skin's natural pH level. That's a real formulation choice, not a marketing line: at this pH, more of the acid sits in its gentler, buffered form, so you get a light polish without the sting of a stronger treatment. If you want something more aggressive, this isn't it, and that's on purpose.

Green Tea Extract brings antioxidant support along for the ride, a Xylitylglucoside moisture complex (derived from plant [corn] sugars) helps the skin barrier hold onto water, and Allantoin keeps things calm while the acids do their gentle work.

Spray on clean face and neck morning or evening, before serums and moisturizer. Sunburn Alert: This product contains an alpha hydroxy acid (AHA) that may increase your skin's sensitivity to the sun and particularly the possibility of sunburn. Use a sunscreen, wear protective clothing, and limit sun exposure while using this product and for a week afterwards.

Store all personal care products in a cool, dry place out of direct sunlight. Keep out of direct streams of water (such as in a shower). Use within 6 months. Avoid dipping fingers directly into product jars to avoid contamination. Use a spatula or spoon instead.
